Vienna Symphonic Library releases Synchron Smart Orchestra 2.0
Experience symphonic brilliance in seconds with this modern all-in-one package that brings the power of the Hollywood-proven Vienna Synchron Orchestra straight to your DAW or studio.

The Vienna Symphonic Library is pleased to announce the release of Synchron Smart Orchestra 2.0, an entry-level virtual instrument for live-playing, sketching, quick orchestrations, and hybrid scoring. It offers new features such as the additional user interface “Flow View” as well as new content such as additional solo instruments (solo violin, solo viola, solo bassoon), additional articulations for all solo instruments (staccato, sforzato, lyrical legato), and additional library packs (Smart Spheres, Smart Hits). The new version is currently available at an introductory price of $209 (reg. $282). Crossgrade paths from various Synchron Series libraries as well as from the discontinued collection Vienna Smart Orchestra are available. The update is free for existing users of the Synchron Smart Orchestra.

Hands-on Hybrid Scoring

Synchron Smart Orchestra 2.0 is a powerful and versatile software instrument that places the entire orchestra on the keyboard, ready to play and to be used in many different ways. Users can play the orchestra or sections with the left hand and solo/lead instruments with the right hand. To work out arrangements in more detail, several instances of the plug-in can be placed on separate tracks of the DAW, each loaded with either the full orchestra, an orchestra section, or a lead instrument with its full range.

All instruments and ensembles were performed by members of the acclaimed Vienna Synchron Orchestra and recorded on the large Stage A of Vienna Synchron Stage. The tutti and section part of the library includes strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and choir. They can be played separately or all together at once, with access to the automatable mixer to adjust the levels of each ensemble. Lead instruments include solo violin, solo cello, violin ensemble, cello ensemble, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, horn, harp, and celesta.

The additional libraries Smart Spheres and Smart Hits expand the Synchron Smart Orchestra 2.0 with modern electronic and organic textures, FX and sound-design elements for hybrid scoring applications.
