I built a massive database of hardware synths & virtual versions – what do you think?
Hey everyone,
I've been a synth and VST enthusiast for over 30 years, and I always wanted a single database covering both hardware and software versions of synths, electric organs, electric pianos, drum machines, samplers… but I never found one. So I built VirtualSynthesizers.com entirely by myself! ️
Put yourself in "computer view" from a smartphone or tablet.
The idea was initially to list only hardware that has a virtual version, but I might expand it to include all hardware synths and add their virtual versions over time.
 What’s inside?
✅ 1000+ hardware units (synths, samplers, drum machines, etc.).
✅ Over 5000 VSTs (free & paid).
✅ Detailed pages with specs, videos, and AI-generated historical & technical info (via Perplexity AI—so there may be errors).
It's still evolving, and I’d love your feedback!
What do you think of the idea?
Any suggestions to improve the database?
Thanks for checking it out, and let me know how I can make it even better!
