SoundSource 5.8 Tightens Things Up

We’ve just shipped SoundSource 5.8, another free update to our popular audio control utility. This release spent a lot more time in the workshop than usual, but we think you’ll appreciate the substantial bug fixes and improvements it got as a result.
This update hammers out issues that previously led to excessive CPU usage. It also fixes problems where audio could glitch or be cut off prematurely. Cross-compatibility with other audio tools has been improved as well.
Across the entire app, bolts were tightened and rough edges were sanded down. In fact, SoundSource 5.8 features of almost three dozen fixes and improvements. Heck, even the app’s About box got a snazzy refurbishment.

This update is the latest in our continual effort to make our software the best it can be, and we encourage you to update now. Existing SoundSource users should choose Check for Updates from the Settings window in SoundSource to get this free update immediately.
