Vienna Symphonic Library releases Synchron Stage Reverb
Vienna Symphonic Library releases convolution reverb recreating Stage A of Vienna Synchron Stage.

The Vienna Symphonic Library is pleased to announce the release of Synchron Stage Reverb, a great-sounding and extremely easy-to-use plug-in with a minimalist design. It recreates the ambience of Stage A at Vienna Synchron Stage with 100% accuracy, using impulse responses captured with the same Decca Tree setup employed in hundreds of film and TV music recordings. Synchron Stage Reverb is currently available at the introductory price of $104 (reg. $156). Registered users of at least one Studio Series library receive an additional discount of 10% during the introductory period.

To mark the occasion, all Studio Series libraries are available at discounts of up to 40%. All instruments and ensembles were recorded in the controlled environment of Vienna’s second studio, the Silent Stage. Thanks to its relatively dry acoustics, this studio setup gives users maximum flexibility, allowing them to position each instrument anywhere in the stereo field and in any acoustic space – especially when paired with Synchron Stage Reverb, which places them in Stage A of the Vienna Synchron Stage.

Simply Stunning Reverb

Vienna Synchron Stage, a massive building in the heart of Vienna, is the world’s only scoring stage specifically built for film music recordings. Hosting sessions for Hollywood films, TV series, video games, and more on a daily basis, the 540 m² hall elevates every performance with its signature blend of grandeur, warmth, and transparency. Now, the Vienna team opens the doors of this legendary scoring stage to everyone, so users can enrich their own recordings with the pure, impeccable ambience of Vienna Synchron Stage.

Synchron Stage Reverb brings together Vienna Symphonic Library’s over 20 years of experience in software development and innovation with a decade of hands-on expertise in recording top-tier music for media. Even better, with its minimalist approach, users can just open the plug-in and get exactly the same sound that Vienna’s engineers have perfected over time – a sound that composers and producers around the world have come to appreciate. With its intelligently streamlined set of controls, workflow is fast and free of distractions, and always within the realm of exceptionally great sound – no mixing expertise required.

Synchron Stage Reverb is a convolution reverb that accurately recreates Stage A, using impulse responses captured with the very same Decca Tree setup employed during scoring sessions for Marvel, Disney, Netflix, Amazon MGM, and many more. Projects such as Daredevil: Born Again, Captain America: Brave New World, The Rings of Power, American Fiction, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Star Wars: The Acolyte, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Reacher, and hundreds more were recorded in this very hall — and now, this unmistakable signature is available at the touch of a button.

Synchron Stage Reverb is designed to deliver stunning spatial realism for all stereo and surround production needs. Whether working in simple stereo or crafting cinematic 5.1 mixes, this reverb plug-in adapts seamlessly to any workflow. With multiple impulse responses captured at several mic positions – including the classic Decca Tree, surround outriggers, and height channels – users can intuitively place their audio signals at pre-defined positions of three main options: general purpose, orchestral, and vocal/drums for band settings.
