Nembrini releases The Rockdude X1000 Plugin
vendredi 4 avril 2025, 13:38 , par Gearslutz
![]() Nembrini Audio has drawn inspiration from Tom Scholz’s celebrated Rockman X100* guitar pedal to create the new Rockdude X1000 plugin, an advanced audio processor. The original Rockman X100 was renowned in the 1980’s for its signature arena rock tones: crystalline cleans, crunchy harmonics and shimmering modulation. Its distinctive calibrated compressed sound and bucket-brigade chorusing can be heard on many iconic rock recordings of this era including bands like Boston, Def Leppard and ZZ top. The Rockdude X1000 plugin builds on the original capabilities of the Rockman X100 with several modern enhancements to offer musicians a versatile and powerful tool which blends classic tone with modern functionality. The Pre-Stomp section features a Noise Gate to eliminate unwanted noise, Filters to aid precise shaping, a Wah effect for expressive frequency sweeps and a Booster to enhance signal strength. The plugin’s Cabinet Emulation is designed to seamlessly integrate with the Impulse Response (IR) cabinets giving authentic speaker simulation for a realistic playing experience. Plus, the Effects Section includes a Hall Reverb for expansive ambient sounds and a graphic parametric Equalizer for detailed tonal adjustment. Put simply, the Rockdude X1000 offers classic guitar tone in a box with upgraded, powerful, modern plugin features. The Rockdude X1000 plugin desktop version is available at the introductory price of $29.99 (normally $137) and the iOS iPad/iPhone version at $9.99 (normally $19.99) until April 30th 2025.
