AP Mastering - Delta Expose: Compressor Analysis Plugin

AP Mastering released a new plugin designed to analyze dynamics processors - in my experience its similar to Bertrom EQ Analyzer but for compressors. Its superior to Plugin Doctor in the sense that, purely for dynamics processors, it doesnt generate the transfer curve at one static frequency.

It also will show any nonlinearities inherent in the plugin - so you can see if your favorite compressor plugin is in fact identical to a stock plugin. Not just harmonics but frequency dependent compression/ratios, for example. You wont really be able to measure this behavior with this plugin, the idea is to detect its presence.

Its 5 bucks, and because of the complex routing required the only official DAW supported is Reaper.

Its really nifty, but it little finnickier to set up than Bertrom. To be fair, its literally just one guy who made the whole thing. I think with some refinement, or as a standalone application, with all routing handled on the back end - it could be even more awesome.
