Black Noise Modular Announces Eclipse Stereo Analog Morphing Oscillator Eurorack Module

Black Noise Modular has announced its new Eclipse Stereo Analog Morphing Oscillator Eurorack module, which will be showcased at Superbooth 25. Developed over three years, Eclipse aims to combine the characteristics of vintage analog oscillators with modern features for creating complex sounds. The module is built around a high-precision analog triangle oscillator that tracks accurately over 10 octaves. A key feature is a custom-designed morphing waveshaper, inspired by the VCS3's waveshaper, intended to generate complex harmonics. This waveshaper design led to the inclusion of a dedicated stereo section to process waveforms across the stereo field while maintaining balance. Eclipse offers full CV control over all parameters with smart normalization for global modulation from a single source. Features: Analog Stereo Morphing Oscillator. 100% Analog Module. Single high-precision triangle core VCO. 10-octave tracking range with high temperature stability. Morphing waveshaper with 3 modes (original circuit design). 2 stereo modes: SPAM (Stereo Pulse Array Modulation), SPSM (Stereo Pulsed Saw Modulation). 1 quadrature mode: MorphX (can be used for wave blending and RM/AM, sidechain ducking). LFO and ULFO modes (cycles up to 1h). 3 FM modes: linear, exponential, and custom Xtreme mode. Index input for dynamic FM. Voltage control of both waveshaping and CV depth. Extra square wave based on the waveshaper's output. Individual outputs: Sine, Triangle, Saw, Square, Sub, Morph-Square. Balanced image with voltage-controlled stereo spread. CV over all parameters.
