Heritage Audio releases HA 240 GOLD FOIL VERB plugin in native form

![]() Continuing to muscle in on the ever-expanding effect plug-in marketplace upon which it has already made its musical mark with several successful releases, Heritage Audio is proud to announce availability of HA 240 Gold Foil Verb — meticulously modelled and (almost entirely) named after an original heavyweight hardware unit (Serial # 0183) that was heavily used by company CEO Peter Rodríguez during the early days of his recording career, subsequently stored in the vintage-sounding recording equipment developer’s factory for many years before being effectively brought back to life as a unique plug-in — as of May 2... What was once thought to be non-functioning following many years spent languishing in storage, sitting waiting to be torn apart for spare parts, proved otherwise when one of Heritage Audio’s talented engineers opened up the heavyweight hardware (echo plate reverb) unit in question for testing only to find it was working perfectly — perfect, in fact, for being meticulously modelled as a unique plug-in. Put it this way: with years of storage actually improving its performance in ways that time tends to do to some vintage equipment, the company collectively could not resist capturing the gorgeous sound and vibe of this one-of-a-kind studio classic and turning it into a fun-to-use, musically inspiring tool for all. As such, the resulting HA 240 Gold Foil Verb native plug-in’s easy-to-comprehend controls look like those found on the hardware unit upon which it is based, bolstered by some useful extras thrown in for good measure — namely, an INPUT gain knob (ranging from -10dB to 10dB); an OUTPUT gain knob (ranging from -10dB to 10dB); a filter knob (that effectively acts as a low frequency management tool to allow users to select a cut of 0, -4, -12 or -24 dB at 100Hz); a LOW FREQ (frequency) knob (ranging from -12dB to 12dB at 150Hz); a HIGH FREQ (frequency) knob (ranging from -12dB to 12dB at 5kHz); a fully-adjustable DRY/WET knob (blends the signal received with the processed one); a SPREAD knob (adjusts the stereo width of the reverb); a PRE DELAY knob (sets the time before the reverb begins to process the signal, ranging from 0 ms to 250 ms); and an adjustable REVERB TIME (controls how long the reverb lasts). Let it be said, then, that HA 240 Gold Foil Verb enhances any source, giving guitars, strings, synths, and vocals alike a distinctly dark, yet enticing space in which to play their (all-important) parts in the production proceedings. Helpfully, Heritage Audio’s goal with HA 240 Gold Foil Verb — as, indeed, is the case with all its comparatively recently released plug-ins — is to create a tool to channel creativity and put the focus firmly back on the ‘music’ in music production, which is exactly why the vintage-sounding recording equipment developer wants to reach as many users as possible by applying a pricing scheme that is both comprehensive and fair. It is for this reason that the native plug-in is available for free to owners of any i73® PRO family products — offering varying I/O and features as the first ever USB-C audio interfaces with built-in Class A 73-style preamps — by being automatically added to their plug-in collection (here: https://users.heritageaudio.com). A price of €99.00 EUR/$99.00 USD is guaranteed for everyone else. It is surely fair to say that the vintage-sounding recording equipment developer cannot say fairer than that. The native version of HA 240 Gold Foil Verb is available to purchase — as a 64-bit AAX-, AU-, and VST3-format-compatible effect plug-in for macOS (10.15.7 and higher, with both INTEL and Native Apple Silicon M1/M2/M3/M4 compatibility) and Windows (10 and 11) — directly from Heritage Audio here: https://users.heritageaudio.com/prod...old-foil-verb/
