Musical Sampling has released Parallax, a modern, picked electric guitar instrument for Kontakt. The second entry in the Neo Guitar Series covers a broad range of styles—from classic to modern rock, emotional to aggressive. A real workhorse. It runs on our updated engine, featuring intuitive controls for strumming, double-tracking, adjustable hammer-on/pull-off range, and crossfading between palm-mutes and sustains. Only the essentials—everything needed to craft the kind of guitar performances we had in mind. As per usual, the dedicated legato patch features our curated set of articulations, switchable via velocity: natural legato, slide to pluck, slide no pluck, and hammer-ons/pull-offs. That last articulation now spans up to a major 4th—perfect for fast arpeggios.
