Noisebud releases Peach – Dynamic shaping, reimagined

Noisebud has announced the release of Peach, describing it as a new type of dynamics plugin that allows users to control audio levels above and below a defined threshold independently. Rather than following traditional compressor or limiter paradigms, Peach introduces a signal-splitting approach that lets users dial in different responses to loud and quiet parts of the signal. Each range—above and below the threshold—has its own gain control and dedicated clipper. Combined with lookahead processing and delta monitoring, Peach enables precise dynamic shaping that can be subtle, aggressive, or anything in between. Peach was originally developed as part of an exploration into what makes a limiter sound transparent. Over time, it grew into a standalone processor with its own flexible design.
