Karoryfer says Merciful Cello is in many ways the opposite of Vengeful Cello, focusing on lyrical legato and naturally expressive performance instead of a large number of articulations and controls. Articulations: True sampled legato in forte, mezzoforte and piano dynamics. Shorts with four velocity layers. Pizzicato in long and short variations with three velocity layers, plus muted. Four types of ornaments: fast half-step, slow half-step, whole-step and scoop. Other features: Two types of release samples: regular and fall. Unison. Rebow samples.
