The MIDI Association: 2025 MIDI Innovation Awards Software Submissions

mercredi 2 juillet 2025, 18:32 , par KVR Audio
The MIDI Association in conjunction with their annual MIDI Innovation Awards, are looking for software submissions in both the commercial and non-commercial/prototype/startup categories. The submission deadline for the 5th annual MIDI Innovation Awards is July 8th. Any company or entity that creates MIDI products is welcome to enter. Your product needs to have an innovative use of MIDI and been released (or had a major upgrade) since September of 2024. The non-commercial/prototype/startup category simply means you do not have sales of over $250,000 annually. This category was created so that startups are not competing in the same category with larger software brands. All you need to submit the entry form is some text, a picture and a link to a video -all things you had ready for the product's launch. It should not take more than a few minutes. There is no cost to enter and your product will be promoted on MIDI.org and finalists gain opportunities to present their innovations on a global stage, with prizes such as exhibition spaces at major events like the NAMM Show, and Music China. They also receive support from The MIDI Association for developing MIDI 2.0 prototypes. The MIDI Innovation Awards works with Sound On Sound, the world's leading music technology magazine, contributing prizes and press coverage for the competition. Ready to enter? Whether it's a next-gen MIDI controller, a novel plugin, a music education tool, or something entirely new—if it uses MIDI in a creative way, it belongs in the spotlight.
