For the last few years, we've been asked about a "mystery mic" floating around - a strange looking Bomblet, with a black mid-section and unique badge. That was a producer's private mod: a customized version on the original 023 Bomblet with a capsule tuned for today's modern, radio-ready mixes.

We called it The 023 MALFA - made with a gentle presence lift, extra air on the top, and slightly leaner low-mids, all while retaining all the same forgiving character that the 023 Series has become known for.

We’ve now opened the 023 MALFA Capsule to everyone.

Like its sibling, the 023 Bomblet, the 023 MALFA Capsule blends a warm texture with unmistakable Soyuz detail, but the Malfa stands out with a:
