FAYE RSTUDIOS presents the R, an innovative passive monitor controller designed for studios of all sizes, from home setups to professional audio facilities. It allows connection of two stereo sources, one subwoofer, and two pairs of active monitors. Built with the same quality components such as Neutrik and Mogami, as its big brother, the SMC stereo, it delivers extremely transparent sound, empowering users to work with total confidence on music, mixes, masters, and any sound project.

Compact design

The R is designed to save valuable desk space by using a vertical layout that optimizes height instead of taking up precious depth. Its streamlined footprint makes it the ideal solution for workspaces where every centimeter counts without compromising functionality.

Essential monitoring control

The R monitor controller features essential functions such as DIM (-20 dB), MONO, and MUTE, plus a practical PAN function that allows users to listen in mono or stereo on the selected monitor pair, isolate the left or right speaker, or even check mono playback through a single speaker.

Carefully chosen switches

Switches with paddle handles were chosen because in FAYE RSTUDIOS' vision, they are the most logical choice for this type of device and offer the best tactile feel.

Original subwoofer management

Thanks to an innovative integration, the R monitor controller lets you activate, bypass, or solo your subwoofer, giving you greater flexibility.

Precise stepped volume control

At its heart is a logarithmic 24-step volume control designed for a very smooth and musical attenuation, starting with a reduction of -2 dB per step, and reaching a total attenuation range of at least -66 dB, with a left/right channel tolerance of ±0.1 dB. An elegant, robust aluminum knob ensures precise and enjoyable operation.
