Plughugger releases "Operator XY" for Spectrasonics Omnisphere

Plughugger has released Operator XY, a hardware-centric soundset for Spectrasonics Omnisphere, based on the Teenage Engineering OP XY hardware synthesizer. Operator XY Just like with the OP-1, the OP XY is based on a large number of smaller synth engines, and each engine is designed to make a certain type of sound with controls that are both musical and to the point. Compared with the OP-1 the sounds from the XY are less experimental and more musical, taking inspiration from electrical keyboards, analog synths as well as digital modern synthesizers. For Operator XY, Plughugger recorded waveforms from the basic to the complex and advanced, as well as drum sounds from the PO-32 Tonic / Sonic Charge MicroTonic drum synthesizer. Apart from with the single presets, they also combined another 40 sounds into layered multisounds.
