Voiced to sound great on absolutely anything at all, delivering big realism and a combination of the smoothness and richness you might look for in a ribbon microphone, and the crisp yet classy air of a great condenser microphone. Based around Martin Kantola’s proprietary D100K 30mm edge terminated capsule design, which sounds extremely smooth and has superb off axis response this microphone doesn’t just sound great out of the box on any vocal or instrument from drums to guitar amps to classical orchestras, but will take eq and other processing without sounding eq’d in an astounding fashion.
