Applied Computer Music Technologies releases ACM76SA FET Compressor for Windows and Linux

mercredi 24 septembre 2025, 14:03 , par KVR Audio
Applied Computer Music Technologies has released their ACM76SA FET compressor plug-in for Windows and Linux. Inspired by one of the best known vintage FET compressor / limiters, the ACM76SA provides fast attack to tame the most troublesome dynamics, combined with harmonic drive from the transformer-coupled JFET VCA emulation, while the classic 'All Buttons' or 'British' mode offers an additional rich overdrive texture. In addition the plug-in provides a switchable side-chain high-pass filter to prevent over compression on bass heavy mixes. Features Smooth controls with no 'zipper noise' when adjusting the plug-in settings. Program dependent attack and release, with fast attack. JFET VCA emulation for colourful harmonic drive. Transformer-coupled circuit emulation enhances the desirable vintage tone. Innovative zero-delay feedback algorithm models analogue behaviour. Classic 'All Buttons' mode for extra overdrive, colour and texture. Physically modelled rotary control modes. Resizable graphical user interface. VST, VST3, AAX and CLAP plug-in. Windows & Linux compatible. Pricing and Availability ACM76SA is available for Windows and Linux, priced at £45.00. Demos are available free to download. The plug-in includes a detailed manual and easy to use installer. Read More
