Vitling Releases Crypt Free 64-Oscillator Supersaw Synth Plugin

Independent developer and artist Vitling has announced the release of Crypt, a new synthesizer plugin developed from a desire for massive unison voices. At the heart of Crypt is a CPU-efficient 64-oscillator supersaw and supersquare engine. This plugin is designed for producers looking to create the biggest, most expansive detuned textures possible. Think of that classic supersaw sound, but pushed much further. While its core sound is described as 'opinionated,' with roots in dark goth and trance music, Vitling notes it remains surprisingly versatile for different musical contexts. The plugin was born from the developer's own needs while working on their Bow Church project. I kept building all these stacks of synths to make the kind of thick, detuned textures that I enjoy working with in my Bow Church project, but the complexity of those stacks made it hard to easily play with the sounds, and the CPU would take a serious hammering.
