​The Compression Matrix II

is an 8-channel, stereo stem-input compressor featuring a stereo summing bus and direct stem outputs.

Designed as the perfect hub for the modern hybrid mix setup, it introduces an innovative sidechain (SC) mixer and return inject for each stereo bus — offering unmatched flexibility and creative control.

Set up your system to route four stereo stems, just like a classic 8-bus console. Run them through your favorite hardware before feeding them into the Compression Matrix II, then use the SC Listen function to fine-tune exactly which elements trigger compression.

On the compression return, you can choose to engage compression or expansion — allowing one element to create space for another and achieve truly dynamic, balanced mixes.

When your mix is complete, use the direct outputs on each stem bus to print your stems back into the DAW — processed as-if hitting the master bus together, but still separated— so you can easily recall your session later for fine adjustments, like “vocals up 1dB" or "guitars up" or "low end up" or "everything louder than everything else". 

Each unit is hand-built to order, with a typical build time of 4–6 weeks.
