Attila M. Magyar has announced the release of version 1.1.0 of MPE Emulator and version 3.5.0 of JS80P. MPE Emulator 1.1.0 MPE Emulator is a VST plugin which enhances ordinary MIDI input devices with MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) capabilities. Version 1.1.0 introduces sustain pedal support and an option to keep sending expression messages on the MPE global channel when all notes are released, allowing control over long note release tails. JS80P 3.5.0 JS80P is a MIDI driven, performance oriented, free and open source synthesizer VST plugin which comes with two oscillators (and a sub-harmonic sine), multiple filters, effects, envelopes, LFOs, and macros to shape the sound with subtractive, additive, FM, PM, and AM synthesis, complete with polyphonic, monophonic, and split keyboard modes. Version 3.5.0 introduces MPE support, adds new presets (Analog Brass AT MPE, Analog Brass mod MPE, Expressive Saw MPE, Crystal Bowl, Metal Bowl, and Metal Bowl Bright), and includes various small bugfixes and improvements.
