Noisebud updates BaseGlove to v1.6
mercredi 12 novembre 2025, 16:07 , par KVR Audio
Noisebud has released BaseGlove v1.60, an update to their plugin designed to bring back punch, movement, and physical weight in the low end while mastering, especially in mixes where compression and limiting have flattened the bass. Instead of boosting lows, BaseGlove reshapes how the bass energy behaves and interacts, helping kick drums and basslines feel solid and alive again. New in v1.6: Smarter Transient Detection – Now reacts only to real low-end hits, allowing the Attack, Release, and Curve controls to rebuild punch precisely where it matters. Two Loudness Modes – Comp mode behaves like a transparent compressor that keeps perceived loudness stable, while Static mode sets a fixed loudness balance between processed and unprocessed signals. Tight / Deep Tone Control – Shifts how the low end moves and feels: Tight gives a quicker, more focused hit; Deep adds slower, heavier motion and depth. It changes the bass's energy, not its tone. Grit Control – Adds subtle, transient-focused saturation to make the low end feel warmer and denser. 4× oversampled and nearly alias-free. Includes a simple limiter that keeps processed peaks at input level — use only if it fits your mix. Price: Free for Patrons ($6/month) or $30 one-time purchase via the Patreon Shop.
