Toontrack releases Metal Themes EZkeys MIDI pack

Today, Toontrack announced the release of the Metal Themes EZkeys MIDI pack, a new MIDI expansion for EZkeys inspired by anything from power and heavy metal to progressive, symphonic and extreme metal.

About the Metal Themes EZkeys MIDI pack

Haunting intros, ghostlike pads or symphonic synths doubling riffs – regardless of style, production or subgenre, metal songs don’t only crave them, they feed on them and absolutely thrive on them.

In this EZkeys MIDI pack we set out to create a collection of metal-inspired building blocks – perfect for sparking new ideas or serving as ready-made performances to expand upon in your own songs. Alongside the self-explanatory Intro and Outro sections – featuring multiple variations of dramatic, haunting and doom-tinged parts to launch or close a song – the material is divided into two other categories: Theme and Bridge. The Theme sections offer melodic parts perfect to spark ideas for riff-like motifs and chord progressions. Finally, in the Bridge sections you’ll find open, slow and heavy parts designed to create evocative atmospheric backdrops.

Whether you’re looking to add some extra layers of sparkle to your songs or simply need some new fuel for your riff-making, this pack has all the elements you need to get started. Just assign the proper sounds – and off you go.
