U-he founder Urs Heckmann has officially announced the long-awaited public beta release of Zebra 3, the next generation of the company’s flagship software synthesizer.
In development since 2012, Zebra 3 is a complete ground-up rewrite of its predecessor, while still preserving the familiar workflow that made Zebra 2 so popular.
This new version represents an entirely re-engineered instrument, featuring updated algorithms, an expanded parameter set, redesigned features, and a modernized interface. Many parts of the plug-in are still being refined, and U-he is actively seeking user feedback throughout the beta phase as they work toward completing the final release in the coming months.
Zebra 3 is already available for pre order with the introductory price of €179 (reg. €249)
Owners of both Zebra 2 and The Dark Zebra licenses are eligible for a free upgrade while Zebra 2 owners from before it became Zebra Legacy can upgrade to Zebra 3 for €30
