It has the same connector on both ends. It's for a headphone jack for an EMU sampler. If I can get a cable like that pre-made, I will. If not, I can probably figure out how to make one myself, if I knew what the connector is called. This is EMU part #AC355.
Got in 36 cassettes for transfer and restoration. These are from a long time client who we have done similar work for in the past. There is no rush (which is GREAT!) but there is over 40+ hours of transfer and since I listen to each transfer there is a lot of work to look...

Hi Rich, Big fan of your recordings and mixes since early Muse records so thanks for doing this. Anything you can share about the tracking and mixing of this song would be awesome. Thanks

Hello everyone, I’m posting this to alert ARP 2600 M users about a recurring issue with tuning stability that I’ve experienced across three units. After purchasing my first ARP 2600 M, I noticed a significant detuning across octaves. Korg kindly replaced it, but the...

People who are using SoundID Reference - how are you using it? I'm trialling it and have set it up both 1) within Cubase via Control Room and 2) on globally on my Mac. Both seem to work fine after 15min of light use but I'm wondering if there are any routing or other...

I dipped my toe into Ai prompting Udio to sing some lyrics. I liked the experience of getting the lyrics sung pretty fast and changing things up to try new words and phrases in the lyrics. Of course I almost immediately wanted to rearrange the generated song in a dozen ways...

I'm retiring in a few years. Lucky me! I've always been part of my local music scene, and still play in bands. I have a studio space I use for my own projects, but eventually it would be nice to donate my time and space to helping younger folk who don't have my experience...
