Softube Releases 'Equalizers' and 'Core Vintage Equalizers' Plugins

Softube has announced the release of Equalizers, a modern EQ plug-in designed to integrate with their suite of vintage modeled equalizers. Alongside this, they have also released Core Vintage Equalizers. Known for their detailed modeling of classic hardware, Softube is aiming to blend the best of both worlds—the precision of a modern digital EQ with the character of vintage gear. The new Equalizers plug-in acts as a host or a shell, providing a contemporary interface with features like draggable curves, a frequency analyzer, dynamic bands, and individual mid/side or left/right channel control, all while being CPU-efficient. What makes it unique is the ability to load other Softube EQ plug-ins directly within its interface. For example, a user could load the Trident A-Range into a slot in Equalizers. This not only provides the classic Trident sound but also adds the modern visual feedback and extra functional bands of the host plug-in. This creates a streamlined workflow where corrective and creative equalization can happen within a single window. Also new is Core Vintage Equalizers, a passive parallel equalizer based on the Vintage EQ from their Console 1 Mixing System.
